All products we sell come with a standard conformity warranty and a technical (or commercial) warranty
Conformity warranties ensure that the product purchased meets the specifications and technical or functional characteristics communicated at the time of sale. According to current legal provisions, this warranty cannot be shorter than 24 months. For legal entities, the standard warranty is 12 months from the purchase date. The only exceptions are products with a shorter average lifespan. In this case, the conformity warranty will be reduced to this period.
The technical warranty is voluntarily provided by the manufacturer and is communicated in the product specifications. This warranty does not have a minimum legal duration, and its content is entirely at the discretion of the manufacturers. Some manufacturers may choose to offer a single warranty duration for the entire product, while others may provide different warranty durations for various product components (e.g., 6 months for batteries and 12 months for controllers or heating equipment). However, in most cases, the technical warranty duration will be at least equal to the legal minimum conformity warranty duration of 24 months.
Only for the technical warranty is a warranty certificate issued. You benefit from the conformity warranty based on the conformity declaration, which can sometimes be a separate document or, in some cases, included in the warranty certificate.
For purchases from the COLDEX retail network, the warranty certificate and the conformity declaration will be handed to you together with the product and purchase invoice.
For online purchases, you will find the warranty certificate and the conformity declaration in the package or in the product box. Don't forget to provide or have the order number from which the product was received without a warranty certificate or conformity declaration.
The warranty certificate contains all the necessary information regarding your product's warranty: the warranty period, the terms of granting, as well as the authorized service units for repairs.
In case of a malfunction, notify COLDEX service and inquire about the available options for the category to which your product belongs. Depending on the situation, the service may decide to perform the repair at the product's location (for example, for large appliances or built-in units), or it may collect the product from you via courier for repair.
You can, of course, bring the defective product to one of COLDEX's stores if it belongs to an easily transportable category. We will take care of sending it to the authorized service, but once repaired, you will be able to pick up the product only from the same store where you handed it over.
The service is obligated to repair your product within 15 calendar days. This period is counted either from the moment the service is notified or from the moment the product is handed over to the courier or COLDEX store, depending on the case. After the repair is completed, the warranty period of your product will be extended by the number of days corresponding to the period between when the product arrived at the service and when it was returned to you repaired.
In case the product cannot be repaired and the service confirms that the malfunction is not due to misuse, improper handling, or conditions mentioned in the warranty certificate, we will replace it. The replacement product will also benefit from a new warranty, distinct from the warranty of the replaced product.
